This project was really enjoyable and actually quite exciting. During the Liberty Village Art Crawl I was visited by the beautiful sister of the talented (and also beautiful) abstract artist Darlene Swinton. She showed me her stunningly beautiful eyes and expressed her love for her unique brown spot in one of her eyes. As you know I love unique features so I was quite excited about the prospect of painting these incredible eyes.
I was later contacted by Darlene Swinton, a fellow artist, to create this custom eye painting of her sisters eyes to by given as a birthday gift to her sister. I was thrilled. The entire painting process was so enjoyable as Darlene's sister has a wide range of colours in her skin tone. The piece turned out beautifully. Darlene was thrilled with the results which is such a compliment coming from a fellow artist. :)
